What do you do outside of Ultimate? I'm an electrical engineer for Georgia Tech Research Institute.
Name a recent book, movie, tv show, or video game you enjoyed. Psych. Phenomenal TV show. Even better if you get 80s references. Unfortunately recently taken off of netflix #RIP
How/why did you start playing Ultimate? I played a little in my Jr/Sr years of high school, but not seriously until my freshman year at Georgia Tech. I played for my high school's basketball team, but mostly rode the bench. Once I got to Georgia Tech, I realized I'm way better at ultimate than I ever was at playing ball, and that was that.
What player is your idol/mentor/inspiration and why? I would probably say Jay Clark. A little bit of a mentor to me on Tribe for a few years, but more importantly, plays with a certain swagger that I hope to emulate even half of. Super nice guy too.
What is your superpower -most dangerous throw, cut, defensive skill? My superpower is being tall, but that's only if you don't consider Canadian citizenship a superpower.
What is your claim to fame? Once at ACCs, a huck went up to me, and while it was in the air, I had to do a spin move around my defender to get it. Still have no idea how I caught it.
And my family is pretty talented...
Who are your favorite athletes/teams? Falcons- gotta root for the home team.
Kyle Korver- my dude started off basically being traded for a copy machine, and now he is closing in on #3 all time Career 3s.
What would you choose as your "walk up" song? Taylor Swift -22
